Spent some time today at Manchester Museum - one of my favourite haunts. Remember going there as a kid, and it's still as fascinating and enjoyable place as it was when I was a young child. If you're in the Manchester area, it's well worth a visit.
Did these a few months ago. Manchester Town Hall is a fantastic building, but I wonder how many look in any detail at the small statues that embellish it. These give an idea of just how amazing they are.
First time I've shot Rugby League for a long time. I got down to the Rochdale Town game early on Saturday, so spent a few minutes prior to the match shooting some of the Ruby League.
Some time since I've posted, and things have changed a lot. I've invested in some new equipment, most notably the Sigma 150 - 500mm lens, details on the Sigma website here. It's a fantastic lens and these were shot this morning. The light was beautiful and it was warm - first time this the year. I hope to manage to get a few more entries done over the next few months so check back.
Manchester United parade the Premier League Trophy through the streets of the city having won their 20th Championship. A fantastic day. Enjoy the photographs
An event I've been meaning to get to for years but finally managed it today. The event commemorates the Peterloo massacre on 16th August 1819 - very moving.
